Ottawa Lawyer Speaks Out Against Lowering Benefits to Car Crash Victims

Ottawa personal injury attorney Brenda Hollingsworth has spoken out against changes in a new Ontario law that will substantially decrease the medical benefits available to car accident victims.

The new law will take effect next year.  It will reduce the amount of medical and rehabilitation benefits from $100,000 CD down to $50,000 CD — a fairly drastic reduction.

According to Ms. Hollingsworth, the new law will have a severe impact on car accident victims who sustain the most serious injuries, like those who suffer spinal cord and other catastrophic injuries.

Listen to Ms. Hollingsworth as she discusses in detail how the new law will negatively impact auto accident victims.

If you have suffered a car accident in Ottawa or any where else in Ontario, Canada, you should contact Ms. Hollingsworth to better understand your rights.  She can be reached at (613) 233-4529.
