A Commitment to Our Community
Davis Law Group™ believes in the importance of giving back to the community. Through the business, we use our leadership skills to promote solutions and to recognize those that are making a significant contribution to our community. We maintain many different outreach programs as well as active participants in national organizations:

Due to the poor economy and diminishing budgets at public schools, officials have made tremendous cuts that have caused teachers to use their own money to purchase necessary classroom supplies. In fact, 97% of public school teachers are using their own finances to contribute to classroom supplies. The attorneys at Davis Law Group created the Davis Law Group School Supplies Gift Program to help teachers in Seattle Public Schools get the supplies they need for their students.

This program was established to recognize exceptional senior-class student athletes that are performing well in the classroom and on the field. From January to April, two high school seniors in the greater Seattle area, will be chosen weekly as the Davis Law Group Scholar Athlete of the Week and given a scholarship to acknowledge their commitment. A total of 30 scholarship recipients will be selected. At the end of the school year, a banquet is held for all of the winners and their families.

The DLG Viral Video Scholarship Contest™ was created as a community service project to help educate the public on safe driving practices by awarding a scholarship to the film student or video production enthusiast who creates the best public service announcement video.

The Hit and Run Reward Program is designed to help keep our roadways safe by offering an award to those who have information regarding a hit-and-run driver. Davis Law Group, several other law firms and WeTip have teamed up to provide an effective, anonymous hit and run reporting system. The program’s mission is to stop hit-and-run collisions through an incentive to turn in offenders.
Hopeful for the Homeless Project
According to the King County Committee to End Homelessness, half of the individuals in King County homeless shelters are children under the age of 18. This holiday season Davis Law Group is teaming up with Project Night Night to assemble holiday gift packages for homeless children in the Seattle area. Chris and Mischelle Davis along with the employees at Davis Law Group will assemble gift packages containing a blanket, a stuffed animal, a story book and holiday goodies. They will personally deliver the packages to the children at three nearby shelters: Mary’s Place, YWCA Seattle-Downtown and Union Gospel Mission’s Hope Place.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) it is estimated that 10,839 people died in alcohol-impaired driving crashes in 2009. Drunk driving fatalities accounted for 32% of all traffic deaths that year. On average someone is killed in an alcohol-impaired driving crash about every 50 minutes in the U.S.
DLG works to prevent drunk driving by donating $500 to MADD Pacific Northwest Region for every drunk driving collision case that our law firm settles or takes to verdict.
