DLG Scholar Athlete Program
Davis Law Group Scholar Athlete Program™ welcomes dedicated student athletes and awards them a scholarship. Anyone is eligible to nominate a scholar; parents, coaches, peers, teammates, teacher or school administrators.
This program was established to recognize exceptional senior-class student athletes that are performing well in the classroom and on the field. Nominations and Applications are accepted starting September 1st, 2011. From January to April, two high school seniors in the greater Seattle area, will be chosen weekly as the Davis Law Group Scholar Athlete of the Week and given a $100 scholarship to acknowledge their commitment. A total of 30 scholarship recipients will be selected. At the end of the school year, a banquet is held for all of the winners and their families. One male and one female are chosen at the banquet to be named The Davis Law Group Scholar Athlete of the Year. Each winner receives a $1,000 scholarship along with a glass trophy to honor their achievement.
In order to be recognized as a Davis Law Group Scholar Athlete of the Week, he or she must have at least a 3.0 GPA, attend a Washington State high school, be classified as a senior through class credits and perform as a main contributor in his or her sport(s).
